Iron Horse Inn

The inn was charming and lovely. I can only imagine how absolutely stunning it must be in the spring, when the grass is green and the flowers are in full bloom.

Our host Julie was amazing! Our breakfast was delivered to our cottage after an amazing stay in beautiful Granbury. They even prepared a vegetarian quiche for my spouse.

The location was perfect for the wedding we were attending in Granbury. The breakfast was awesome with an egg/sausage casserole, fresh fruit, roasted potatoes and baked from scratch cinnamon rolls! We couldn't have been happier with this place and will stay there again when we go back to Granbury Julie was very friendly and Len showed me how they make their cinnamon rolls.

Both breakfasts were good. I especially liked the cinnamon rolls on the second morning. Also, Julie fixed our breakfast an hour early on the day we left so I could make it to work on time.

We stayed in the guest house in back and it was soooooo cute and comfortable!! Beyond charming!! Also enjoyed the afternoon wine and snacks 😋 But the best part was the host…..Julie is amazing! Just the sweetest….and an amazing cook! She made us feel so welcome!!
